Summer 2019 I interned with Mel-ro Construction in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The project I was assigned to was Spine Road at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). The road is constructed to connect the east section of campus to the north section. I spent time shadowing UCCS engineers, attending storm water management inspections, learning BlueBeam Revu, and the ins and outs of active construction sites.
