During the fall of my junior year I took Thermodynamics through the Engineering Plus department. This class focused so much on the hands on learning of such a complicated subject.

In addition to the final exam, we were assigned a thermodynamic cycle to create. Our team designed a refrigeration cycle for compressed air.  We chose compressed air because other fluids were potentially toxic and more expensive to use. An image of the cycle is shown at the right in addition to the final slide deck for the project.
