ABOUT ME
My name is Natalie Godec and I am a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am an Engineering Plus major with an emphasis in Civil Engineering and a business minor concentration. I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado where I graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 2017. I then decided to continue my academic career at the University of Colorado. I chose Engineering Plus because I wanted more than just an engineering degree. E+ gives me the opportunity to develop both engineering skills and skills outside of engineering that will be necessary for success in the future.

Outside of school, I enjoy watching and playing sports. Many weekends I spend time cheering on both basketball teams and the football team here at CU. I am an active intramural participant as well as President and Captain of the Club Softball team. I love to travel; I have been lucky enough to explore the US from South Carolina to California and places in between. My favorite destination is the beautiful island of Maui. Along with domestic travel, I have had the opportunity to visit Paris, Iceland, Argentina, and Costa Rica. The next places I would love to visit are Italy and England. I am also heavily involved with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, FOCUS. In October of 2019, I began as a student intern for FOCUS and helped plan a mission trip in March of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak we were unable to travel and serve.

Even with the chaos of 2020, I interned with Galloway and Co. in Greenwood Village Colorado. I worked on many different projects at different stages in the life cycle. I worked on SWMP and SWPPP Reports, site layout, erosion control plans, signage and striping plans, and created construction documents and site plans.

After graduating in May of 2021, I began working full-time as a campus missionary at the University of California at Berkeley with The Fellowship of Catholic University Students, FOCUS. As a missionary, we are asked to accompany all students on their faith journey as they navigate the challenges of living as a disciple of Christ on campus. I lead weekly Bible Studies, planned & lead a Mission Trip for 14 students to Lima, Peru, and invited others to join me on mission by building a team of financial & spiritual supporters to make mission at Cal possible.
